English is such an important part of both the school curriculum and everyday life. Here at The Tutor Room, I tailor each lesson to the individual's needs and requirements; whether it be focusing on phonics at Key Stage 1, reading and writing to aid Key Stage 2 and year 6 SATs, or exam writing techniques for Key Stage 3/GCSE.

Lessons can be carried out either face to face or online and will consist of worksheets and exercises from different learning platforms, along with games and practical activities to cement learning.

All lessons will be based on the students’ ability rather than age, meaning that every student will experience their own personalised learning and have the ability to work at their own pace.
